This daily-use toner effectively removes bacteria and dirt trapped deep in pores to purify skin and reduce irritation and acne. The new and improved formula now contains higher levels of AHA and PHA for a gentle chemical peel, as well as higher levels of Centella Asiatica for an enhanced soothing effect.
The Daily Purifying Treatment Toner has been improved to exclude alcohol and contain a higher amount of AHA and PHA (with reduced BHA) for better exfoliation. AHAs, or Alpha Hydroxy Acids, are a common skin care enzyme that helps exfoliate skin to improve skin tone and texture. The AHA contained in our toner is also known as glycolic acid. PHAs, or polyhydroxy acids, are also an effective chemical peel.
In addition, they help to draw water into the skin, which has a moisturizing effect. The amount of Centella Asiatica extract in the improved formula has also been more than doubled for an enhanced soothing effect, making it more suitable for dry skin types. Last but not least, the amount of hawkweed extract in both new formulas has been doubled.
